Long-Time fostering is when you take on a bird for life. We match birds to the most suitable permanent home and so this is not a quick process. All foster homes will be checked by our welfare officers to ensure that all of the birds needs can be met, and welfare checks will take place following a placement. 

 

Only approved members are eligible to apply and for this membership fees do apply.

 

During your time as a permanent foster home, you will receive our support via our friendly Facebook group and can ask members our team for advice if you find you're unsure about anything regarding your birds health and wellbeing.

If there are any unforseen changes of circumstances which means that you are no longer able to take care of your bird then we expect birds to be returned to us.
